Woodshop Production Associate (Board Cutter)

About the role
The Woodshop Production Associate plays a key role in producing custom wood cornice boards by measuring, cutting, assembling, and inspecting components to meet customer specifications. This hands-on manufacturing position is ideal for someone with woodworking or carpentry experience who enjoys working with tools, values quality craftsmanship, and follows safe work practices.
Responsibilities
- Read production work orders and follow specifications to build custom wood cornice boards.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood components using tape measures and woodworking equipment.
- Operate tools and equipment such as table saws, radial arm saws, jigsaws, belt sanders, and staplers.
- Inspect finished products to ensure accurate measurements, quality, and workmanship.
- Sand and finish wood components to prepare completed products for the next stage of production.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety procedures.
- Support other woodshop and production tasks as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two or more years of experience in woodworking, carpentry, cabinet making, millwork, furniture manufacturing, or a related production environment.
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Ability to use production equipment, including power saws.
- Experience operating hand tools and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Successful completion of a color vision test.
- Frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Safely operate woodworking machinery and power tools.

Pay
Annual base salary range: $16 hourly.
