Wood Shop Staff

About the role

Join our production team in the Wood Department at our plant in Kingman, Arizona. The Wood Staff will support valued customers by contributing to the high quality construction process of Interstate Trailers.

Responsibilities

• Receive trailer frames from the Wire, Paint and Prep shop and review the accompanying build order.
• Using a table saw to accurately cut ¾’ plywood to specifications, verifying proper fit and gaps.
• Install wood pieces using a drywall screw gun.
• Demonstrate a consistently safe, efficient and accurate work environment.
• Ensure all finished work production meets high quality control standards.
• Learn and become proficient in other production roles to support the entire production team as needed.

• Some welding experience preferred, will train for our process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Proficiency with table saw, jig saw, miter saw, and general hand tools.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
