About the role

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a 1st Shift Wood Shop Assembler to join our team in Watertown, SD.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment to manufacture wood lockers, athletic training equipment, etc.
• Assemble wood components into finished products on time and within PHS quality standards
• Utilize work instructions to follow established assembly procedures
• Maintain clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms
• Utilize Kanban system to restock depleted parts and materials
• Build defect-free products that meet Quality Standards
• Build products within time standards
• Adhere to safety standards and requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous woodshop/wood fabrication experience strongly preferred
• Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings
• CNC machine experience
• High level of mechanical aptitude
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Detail oriented, dependable, and work well in a team environment
• Able to bend, stoop, reach high and low, work at a constant pace, and lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Valid Driver's License
