Women’s Health Provider (Midwife or GP) – Cantonese Fluency

About This Role
Maven is looking for a mission-driven, empathetic Midwife or General Practitioner (GP) based in Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, or Australia who is fluent in Cantonese to support our members through virtual care services. As a Maven provider, you will connect with members globally, helping scale access to high-quality healthcare. You will join a curated provider network spanning 30+ specialties and 350+ subspecialties, all dedicated to delivering holistic, high-value care. Responsibilities
- Provide virtual support, education, and guidance to women across fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood journeys
- Educate members on prenatal care, labour preparation, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, reproductive health, and general women’s health topics
- Offer emotional support and clinical guidance throughout the fertility, pregnancy, and early motherhood journey
- Help members understand their health concerns, navigate healthcare systems, and prepare for in-person appointments when needed
- Provide evidence-based advice, health education, and preventive care support within your scope of practice
- Capture encounter summary documentation in our practice management system, MPractice
- Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals and follow-ups
- Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone
Requirements
- Currently residing in Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, or Australia
- Fluent in English and Cantonese (spoken and written)
- Registered Midwife or General Practitioner with a valid practicing license from the relevant regulatory authority and in good standing
- Holds a recognized medical, nursing, or midwifery qualification
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in women’s health, primary care, obstetrics & gynecology, fertility, reproductive health, or related fields preferred
- Experience supporting fertility, pregnancy, postpartum care, contraception, or reproductive health is highly desirable
- Experience with assisted reproductive technologies (e.g., IVF, IUI, egg freezing) is an advantage
- No history of malpractice claims or disciplinary action
- Able to commit approximately 2 hours per week; this is a part-time, independent contractor role
- Comfortable delivering care via a digital health platform; prior telehealth experience is a plus
- Compassionate, patient-centered, and passionate about improving health outcomes for women and families
