About the role
FamilyWell Health is an AI-enabled mental health start-up dedicated to solving the women’s mental health crisis by seamlessly integrating high-quality, equitable, and affordable mental health care into OB/Gyn practices. The Therapist - Women’s Mental Health position at FamilyWell Health is a remote, part-time role (10-30 hours per week) as a 1099/contractor.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual tele-therapy to patients requesting regular sessions using FamilyWell’s virtual platform.
- Conduct one-on-one psychological intakes for referred FamilyWell program patients, gathering comprehensive assessments to inform treatment planning.
- Document patient progress comprehensively, sharing treatment recommendations with medical providers, psychiatric consultants, and other treating professionals as needed.
- Facilitate treatment plan modifications for patients needing more intensive or specialized mental health care, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
- Develop and deliver Care Plans post-session, offering patients actionable insights and follow-up steps.
Qualifications
- Licensed mental health provider who holds an active license in Texas.
- Experience: Formal perinatal/peri/menopause mental health training or a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience working with pregnant and/or postpartum and/or peri/menopause patients is strongly preferred.
- Preferred Certification: Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International is recommended but not required.
