About the role
FamilyWell Health is an AI-enabled mental health start-up dedicated to enhancing access to high-quality, equitable, and affordable mental health services for pregnant, postpartum, and menopausal individuals across the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual tele-therapy to patients requesting regular sessions using FamilyWell’s virtual platform.
- Conduct one-on-one psychological intakes for referred FamilyWell program patients, gathering comprehensive assessments to inform treatment planning.
- Document patient progress comprehensively, sharing treatment recommendations with medical providers, psychiatric consultants, and other treating professionals as needed.
- Facilitate treatment plan modifications for patients needing more intensive or specialized mental health care, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
- Develop and deliver Care Plans post-session, offering patients actionable insights and follow-up steps.
Qualifications
- Licensed mental health provider who holds an active license in MA.
- All applicants must be able to practice independently / without supervision. Licensures that qualify include the following: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
- Experience: Formal perinatal/peri/menopause mental health training or a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience working with pregnant and/or postpartum and/or peri/menopause patients is strongly preferred.
- Preferred Certification: Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International is recommended but not required. Proof of certification in the treatment of the Peri/Menopause population is recommended but not required.
