Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)

About the Role

Advantia Health is seeking a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with solid gynecological experience and expertise in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, including patients with varying medical conditions. We foster a collaborative environment that values clinical expertise, sharing, and learning among women’s health leaders. Our care teams utilize technology to enhance the patient-provider experience, including seamless scheduling, mobile check-in, and telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses.
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.
• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
• DEA and CDS eligible.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
• Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licensure in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. preferred.

Pay

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $125,000 (based on years of experience).
