About the role

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Board Certified Womens Health Nurse Practitioner (or FNP with dedicated OB/GYN experience) to join our high-volume outpatient women's health clinic.

Responsibilities

• Join an established team of 7 physicians, 15 residents and 2 APPs.
• Work in an outpatient practice setting with no call structure.
• Manage a diverse outpatient panel featuring routine prenatal/postpartum care, well-woman exams, contraceptive counseling, and minor gynecological procedures.
• Work side‑by‑side with an accessible, supportive supervising physician in a team‑based practice model.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing prior to hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi‑state license recognition (Compact State) prior to hire.
• Master’s degree in Nursing required.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.
