Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, determining their needs, recommending products, and promoting the Scheels Visa Credit Card.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge in all selling areas and lead product knowledge training for other associates.
- Consistently meet or exceed personal sales goals while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
- Manage inventory by running and analyzing Internal Flash Reports.
- Maintain an organized backstock and ensure merchandise is properly displayed and replenished on the sales floor.
- Ensure products are accurately displayed with correct price tagging, sales stickers, and signage.
- Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented atmosphere.
- Communicate professionally with associates, Scheels Campus, and vendors/sales representatives.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Perform basic math operations, including calculations involving currency, measurements, and percentages.
- Work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, holidays, and product knowledge meetings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Heavy work – exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
- Adherence to all safety procedures to minimize risk of injury.
Pay
$48,000 to $55,000 in a combination of base hourly pay and personal sales commission.
