About the Role
We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented leader to lead Platform Growth & Distribution for the Investing with Impact team. This individual will lead scalable commercialization across the platform by coordinating advisor engagement, marketing and communications alignment, training and educational initiatives, business development execution, and centralized field engagement.
This role requires a strong commercial and strategic thinker who can connect long-term platform priorities with execution, drive alignment across senior stakeholders, and help scale Investing with Impact adoption across advisor teams and distribution channels. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, highly collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where new commercialization, education, and field engagement approaches are continuously being developed. A passion for sustainability, impact investing, and purpose-driven work is essential, as this role will help support and scale initiatives aligned with the team's mission and long-term vision. This individual will also coordinate integration of the Impact Alternatives Growth Strategy function to ensure consistent commercialization execution across the broader platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy for our patented Impact Reporting tool
- Identify growth opportunities across the platform and support prioritization of strategic initiatives
- Build strategic project plans, manage timelines, and drive accountability across multiple workstreams
- Improve internal processes for scalability, consistency, and operational effectiveness
- Lead strategy for engaging key Financial Advisor teams and distribution partners on Investing with Impact
- Develop executive-level presentations, strategic materials, and communications for leadership and field audiences
- Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable strategies and messaging
- Lead event planning for road shows and the annual in-person gathering for Impact Directors
- Manage a small team
- Foster a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and solutions-oriented team culture
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in financial services, asset management, consulting, strategy, sustainability, distribution, or related fields preferred
- Demonstrated passion for sustainability, impact investing, and purpose-driven work
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Experience building and scaling strategic programs, commercialization models, engagement models, or operational processes
- Experience managing and developing teams
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced and evolving environments
- SIE, Series 7/66 preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire

Pay
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $140,000 and $205,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
