About the role

You will contribute to the pioneering research project "KlinKe – Klimaneutrale Sekundärprozesse im Krankenhaus" (Climate-Neutral Secondary Processes in Hospitals), focusing on reducing CO₂ emissions in hospital secondary processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature research on CO₂ benchmarks for secondary processes in hospitals.
• Maintain and validate key performance indicators in an Excel database, performing plausibility checks.
• Organize and facilitate workshops to optimize secondary processes in hospitals.
• Compile potential process changes to reduce CO₂ emissions, along with best practices and benchmarks.
• Develop a guideline and publish scientific findings in German and English.
• Write interim and final reports to document project results for the funding body.

Requirements

• Completed university degree (Diplom, Magister, or Master) in social sciences, economics, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience or knowledge in sustainability management and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
• Methodological expertise in empirical social research.
• Experience in database administration and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
• Experience in preparing, conducting, and following up on practical workshops.
• Ability to communicate research findings in a target-group-oriented manner (please submit a self-authored scientific text with your application).
• Structured, goal-oriented, and independent work approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and presentation software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
