About the role
You will contribute to the pioneering research project "KlinKe – Klimaneutrale Sekundärprozesse im Krankenhaus" (Climate-Neutral Secondary Processes in Hospitals), focusing on reducing CO₂ emissions in hospital secondary processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct literature research on CO₂ benchmarks for secondary processes in hospitals.
- Maintain and validate key performance indicators in an Excel database, performing plausibility checks.
- Organize and facilitate workshops to optimize secondary processes in hospitals.
- Compile potential process changes to reduce CO₂ emissions, along with best practices and benchmarks.
- Develop a guideline and publish scientific findings in German and English.
- Write interim and final reports to document project results for the funding body.
Requirements
- Completed university degree (Diplom, Magister, or Master) in social sciences, economics, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience or knowledge in sustainability management and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
- Methodological expertise in empirical social research.
- Experience in database administration and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Experience in preparing, conducting, and following up on practical workshops.
- Ability to communicate research findings in a target-group-oriented manner (please submit a self-authored scientific text with your application).
- Structured, goal-oriented, and independent work approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and presentation software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
