Backed by ASPEQ Heating Group and Marley Engineered Products, we offer standard and customized products under brands like QMark, Indeeco, Berko, and Brasch, including baseboard, wall, unit, and infrared heaters, ceiling fans, and air circulators.

About the role

As a Wirer, you will assemble heater units and fabricate necessary components according to work orders, blueprints, and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lay out diagrams for electrical installations per wiring specifications.
• Drill and tap holes for mounting control units.
• Attach breakers, relays, connectors, bus bars, transformers, and insulators.
• Perform hydro testing per specification.
• Paint products as necessary.
• Install and wire thermostats and other options.
• Fabricate bussing and solder connections.
• Test and adjust electrical components.
• Discuss errors in diagrams or production orders with supervision or engineering to clarify assembly problems.

Requirements

• One to three months of related experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Certification in ASME brazing procedures (BPS-B1, BPS-B2, BPS-B3, BPS-B4, BPS-B5) preferred.

Working Environment

• Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to walk and talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
