Wireline Field Engineer

About the role

KLX Energy Services LLC is seeking a Wireline Field Engineer for their Rosharon, TX location. The position involves overseeing operations, interacting with customers, and ensuring safety and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Supervises personnel and provides technical support for operations at the wellsite, yard, and other locations.
• Communicates with customers regarding conditions at the wellsite and interfaces with rig crew and field support staff.
• Plans and coordinates operations, determines the need for equipment, and ensures the confidentiality of logging operations.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots all equipment, instructs personnel on safe operation, and prepares and delivers comprehensive job documentation.
• Maintains HSE program compliance, conducts pre- and post-job safety meetings, and inspects and tests equipment.
• Trains personnel on proper equipment operation and standard operating procedures.
• Maintains FMSCA logging requirements as a CDL or non-CDL Commercial Motor Vehicle Operator while crossing state lines.
• Reviews personnel performance and makes recommendations to management regarding hiring, disciplinary actions, compensation, promotion, scheduling, time approval, etc.
• Performs a combination of shipping, loading, and unloading duties, follows transportation regulations, and drives Company vehicles.

Requirements

• Less than High School Education with 2-4 years work experience.
• Valid Employee Possessor issued by the ATF (Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms).
• Satisfactory driving record per Company policies.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with hazardous material endorsement.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 applications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent preferred.
• 4-6 years work experience preferred.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with hazardous material endorsement preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 applications preferred.

Skills

• Technical expertise in wireline truck and equipment operations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and company standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 applications.
