Position Overview
Roles & Responsibilities
- Possesses strong prospecting skills via telephone, personal visits, mailings, personal letters, internet searches, trade shows, industrial events, meetings, and referrals.
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for sales leads.
- Attends customer meetings via telephone and in person to discuss sales solutions.
- Visits sites and facilities to observe and determine communication needs and possible solutions.
- Prepares and presents sales proposals to customers, meeting sales quotas.
- Quotes prices, credit terms, and prepares sales agreements for orders obtained.
- Estimates delivery dates based on production and delivery schedules.
- Trains new customers in the use of equipment.
- Develops and implements sales plans and strategies.
- Articulates the value proposition of our products and services to convert prospects to customers.
- Requires high-level understanding of radio concepts and moderate understanding of general wireless technology.
Education And/or Experience
- One year certificate from college or technical school in sales/communication technology.
- One to two years related experience and/or training.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses, Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License.
