Wire Transfer Specialist

Job Description First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Wire Transfer Specialist to join our team in the EOS-Wire Transfer Department. Compensation The hourly pay range for this role is $18.00 - $23.00/hr; commensurate with experience. Work Schedule Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 4:00PM (hours may vary) Responsibilities As a Wire Transfer Specialist, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of domestic and foreign wire transfers including data entry, verification, and release of wires. Provides customers (both internal and external) with accurate, courteous, and timely service. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience2 years of experience in banking operations, specifically with wire transfers2 years of experience in customer serviceRequired experience may be obtained concurrently.Effective written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skillsExercises sound discretionAble to set priorities and meet established deadlinesPossess a high level of attention to detailProficient in Microsoft 365 suite of applicationsAble to work under pressure with tight cutoff timeframesExperience working with large dollar wire transaction amounts up to tens of millionsAble to handle confidential matters judiciously
