Primary Responsibilities
- Inspecting products for compliance with drawings
- Operating a laser wire marking machine
- Building complex wire harness assemblies and junction boxes
- Building and testing coax assemblies
- Installing electrical equipment and harness assemblies on aircraft and in facilities
- Working with electrical engineering and mechanical engineering teams to review drawings and provide production feedback
Basic Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of electrical harness and junction box fabrication
- Strong electrical system troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and apply wiring diagrams
- Ability to read and apply mechanical assembly drawings
- Experience with proper application of wiring related tooling including contact crimpers, wire strippers and wire processing machinery
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to use a computer to perform tasking, including timecards and work tracking
Preferred Qualifications
- Aircraft electrical systems training, military or civilian
- 1 to 3 years of work in and around aircraft including facilities that have an active tool control and FOD control program
- Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment including multimeters, milliohm meters, video cable test equipment and vector network analyzers
- Experience operating laser wire marking equipment
- Experience with quality control program implementation
