Wiring Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Wiring Tech to join our manufacturing team in building high-quality chillers for data centers. This position is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels according to schematics, diagrams, and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to assemble control panels.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and component installation, including circuit breakers, relays, power supplies, and PLC’s.
• Route and secure wiring neatly to ensure proper function and compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing of panels before final installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or component issues to ensure proper operation.
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and assembly teams to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols and company standards.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a related field.
• Knowledge of pressure testing procedures, leak detection methods, and chiller systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices for electrical work.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, wiring standards, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and efficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC wiring and troubleshooting preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.

Pay

Pay Range: $18.87-$22.22 with differential of $0.36 after 3:00PM

Schedule

Shift: Mon-Thur 5:00AM-3:00PM
Shift: Mon-Thur 3:00PM-1:30AM
