Wire Center Associate II

Come join one of the fastest-growing independently owned distributors in Northern California! We are looking for a full-time Wire Center Associate II to support our branch in Modesto, CA.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Accurately cut, label, and package wire per customer orders
• Load and unload materials; complete receiving documentation
• Safely operate wire-cutting machines and related tools
• Stage and store materials in designated areas
• Conduct quality inspections on wire products
• Assist with inventory tasks, including cycle counts and replenishment
• Support process improvement and maintain a clean workspace
• Follow all company safety policies and promptly report any damage

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
• Basic computer skills
• Pass Forklift certification training
• Detail-oriented
• Previous experience in a wire center, utility, electrical, and/or distribution or production environment is preferred
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively with other team members
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Ability to reach and stretch without personal injury
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Pay

$18.90 - $22.50 per hour, depending on experience
