Winter Small Works Juried Show
About the Show
This show presents commercially viable work, appealing in subject matter and price, and accessible to the public. The show has a size and price limitation. The show dates are November 22 (opening reception) – December 24, and the submission dates are October 5 – October 30 (midnight deadline). A cash award of $250 will be given for Best in Show, and the juror is Sandra Pelletier.
Artist Eligibility
The show is open to all artists 18 and over, and all media are welcome. No copies or gicleés are allowed, except for photography.
Artwork Guidelines
The sum of all four sides of the work must be equal to or less than 80” including frame. For example, a framed painting that measures 10” x 14” would be acceptable, but a piece whose dimensions are 20” x 24” would be too large. All work must be marked for sale at $500 or LESS.
Exhibition Requirements
Please review the exhibition requirements carefully to ensure your work complies with the guidelines for acceptance at the Rowayton Arts Center. The Exhibitions Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry on the grounds of poor condition or oversized artwork.
Entry Fees
- RAC Members: $25 for one piece; $10 for each additional piece, up to five.
- RAC Art Angel members (Life Members–enter as Art Angels): $2 for one piece, $1 for each additional piece, up to five.
- Non-Members: $35 for one piece, $10 for each additional piece, up to five.
Juror Bio
Sandra Pelletier is the founder and owner of Sorelle Gallery, a fine art gallery and art advisory firm. She attended South Connecticut State University and the College of St. Rose, and previously worked as a part-time art teacher and in technology and sales.
Important Dates
