Pay
Hourly pay rate: $20.70 to $35.21
About the Role
- Operate equipment to produce man-made snow.
- Start and shut down snowmaking guns, check snow quality, remove ice buildup, and maintain equipment.
- Frequently work in adverse weather conditions.
Requirements
- Early October start with training in snowmaking equipment and procedures.
- Snow production begins late October or early November and continues until conditions no longer require it.
- Seasonal positions available; employment may extend to other departments post-snowmaking season.
- Primarily overnight shifts.
- Assist in staffing special events.
- Flexible, weather-driven schedules.
- Skill development and pay scale advancement based on performance.
- Skills assessment after 120 operating hours may lead to a raise or promotion.
- Must have a California Driver's License, be at least 19 years old, with a clean driving record for the past three years.
- Safety Sensitive position subject to drug policies.
- Prior snowmaking experience is a plus.
