Responsibilities

  • Prepare corporate, partnership, trust, and individual tax returns on behalf of clients, including return drafts, quarterly estimates, vouchers, extension prep, and projections.
  • Research and stay up to date with changes in tax regulation, developing tax planning skills at the federal and state level.
  • Work as an individual contributor and as part of a team to support varying client engagements, possibly across multiple industries such as technology, real estate, education, cannabis, manufacturing, non-profit, and more.
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with a team of professionals on client projects through meetings, chat, and email.
  • Develop skills in accounting software through instructor-led courses, self-guided learnings, workflow updates, and on-the-job training.
  • Work toward the completion of CPA certification with the support of Armanino through prep materials and classes.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Plan to complete 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2028 – August 2029.
