Project Development
The Winimo project originated from an initiative in Canada in 2021. It was reworked and adapted to the Belgian market to build a legally compatible and operational model. Discussions with legal and technical partners, validations from the Gaming Commission, and public tests were conducted in 2025.
User Experience
Users can try the games before participating, replay to improve scores, and follow rankings and rewards in real time. Two competitions have already been organized with more than 150 winners and rewards ranging from €20 to €864. Approximately 30% of players replay within the same competition.
Infrastructure and Distribution
Winimo relies on an infrastructure developed around ODOO, Flutter, and Unity. A proprietary backend manages competitions. Retail distribution is supported by a partnership with Prodipresse, with a testing phase in several bookstores.
