About the role

Festival Foods is a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to community service and guest satisfaction. We operate over 40 full-service supermarkets throughout Wisconsin. This role is part of the Wine and Spirits Department, where you'll interact directly with guests, helping them find the right products and providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Help guests find and recommend products, including local craft beers, premium wines, and specialty spirits.
• Answer questions and resolve concerns to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Work closely with team leaders to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain inventory levels, ensure accurate pricing, and keep shelves organized.
• Operate the register accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure the store remains clean and welcoming.
• Communicate with vendors, managers, and colleagues to exceed expectations.
• Support the team and fulfill other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to sample products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of safety requirements and company policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Good manual dexterity and eye-hand-foot coordination.
• Full range of upper body motion for repetitive tasks.
• Functional sensory abilities for visual monitoring and equipment operation.

Pay

Hourly associates are paid based on the standard hourly rate, with additional premiums on Sundays and select holidays. Full-time store associates receive time and a half on Sundays and holidays.

Schedule

The work schedule includes mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the individual's availability.
