Windows / VMware Systems Engineer
About the role
We are looking for a strong VMware & Windows administration engineer to support enterprise infrastructure operations and major data center initiatives in Columbus, OH. This individual will be responsible for supporting and administering Active Directory environments, Windows Server infrastructure, VMware platforms, and associated enterprise technologies. The engineer will help maintain operational stability while supporting strategic modernization initiatives, including a migration from VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) to different product.

Responsibilities
- Active Directory administration, including domains, forests, trusts, and group policies
- Windows Server administration across Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022
- VMware administration including vCenter, vSphere, host upgrades, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Supporting enterprise virtualization environments
- Data center operations and infrastructure support
- Server lifecycle management
- Backup and recovery administration
- Participation in infrastructure modernization and migration projects
- Collaboration with Windows, Linux, engineering, and infrastructure teams
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate Has strong troubleshooting skills, enterprise infrastructure experience, a willingness to learn emerging technologies, and experience operating within large-scale production environments.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
