Senior IT Engineer - Windows/VMWare
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior IT Engineer - Windows/VMWare to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will help shape and support core enterprise technology services that enable reliable operations across a healthcare environment. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to improve infrastructure standards, operational processes, and service performance. The position also includes supporting modernization efforts that strengthen technology stability, scalability, and day-to-day efficiency. As a key technical contributor, you will partner with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure initiatives with business and financial priorities. The work will require strong coordination across suppliers, operational leaders, and technical teams to deliver dependable outcomes in a highly dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to manage operational processes
- Assist in developing technology strategy and infrastructure standards
- Analyze and coordinate implementation of financial initiatives in the specialty area
- Manage supplier relationships and maintain performance metrics
- Plan and control operating and capital budgets for assigned responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8 years of technical engineering experience
- Advanced knowledge of IT technologies including endpoint devices, servers, and networks
- Experience with specialized technologies that support clinical operations
- Strong analytical and project management skills

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually
