Windows Systems Administrator

About the Role

The One 23 Group sets the benchmark for excellence in government services, empowering clients in the Department of War, Intelligence Community, and Federal Civilian sectors with advanced capabilities in Enterprise IT, Mission IT, and Cyber. We are seeking an experienced Windows Systems Administrator to provide systems administration support for contract-owned and operated systems within a classified enterprise environment. This role involves Tier 2 and Tier 3 troubleshooting, operating system lifecycle maintenance, and change management activities. The ideal candidate is a strong Windows administrator with experience supporting secure, enterprise-level environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 support for in-house developed systems and site-unique enhancements.
• Support maintenance of current and future versions of supported IT systems.
• Maintain server operating systems at required versions.
• Maintain COTS, GOTS, and Open-Source software at required versions.
• Perform installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of supported systems.
• Support incident, change, and configuration management processes in accordance with lifecycle support requirements.
• Administer Active Directory user and group management functions.
• Support VMware virtual machine administration and Virtual Desktop environments.
• Provide support for DNS, DHCP, backup and restore operations, SAN storage fundamentals, and desktop imaging tools.
• Assist with PowerShell scripting and automation efforts as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• DoD 8140/8570 Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT-II) certification.
• 10 years of relevant IT systems engineering or systems administration experience supporting enterprise Windows environments.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting systems within classified DoD enterprise environments.
• Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
