We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Windows Systems Administrator to join our client's support team hybrid in Cambridge, MA This is a 1-year Contract with possible annual extensions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in an enterprise environment. The tech will also provide support to client employees, both remote and local, to ensure the seamless operation of technology systems and equipment. Duties And Responsibilities Responsible for all functions related to server both OS and hardwareProvide (remote) first / second-line technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issuesInstall, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripheralsDiagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, escalating problems as neededCollaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain IT policies and proceduresCreate and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurationsStay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in IT support Skills And Qualifications Minimum 5 to 7+ years of experience supporting Windows servers requiredMust have hardware, software, raid config, and patching experienceProven experience in IT support or a related role in an enterprise environmentProficient in configuring and maintaining Windows operating systems, with additional knowledge of Linux / WSLMacOS knowledge as a plusStrong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and hardwareExcellent remote troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience with IT security practices and protocolsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a regulated environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills Wage Range The hourly rate for this position is between $37.50 - $50.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
