Responsibilities

  • Utilizes safe work practices in all aspects of the work performed to include vehicle operation, use of hand and power tools, and handling material on the job
  • Reviews work orders for current work schedule
  • Establishes and maintains professional relationships with customers and business associates
  • Quickly responds to customer complaints and concerns
  • Loads trucks with glass and materials needed
  • Keeps work area clean and well organized
  • Ensures that appropriate paperwork is completed as per company policy
  • Checks all paperwork for accuracy
  • Bills and invoices for parts and service as appropriate
  • Reports to each appointment on-time and performs duties in an efficient, safe, and timely manner
  • Discusses repairs with the customer to ensure satisfaction with a product
  • Aware of safety risks and does due diligence to limit them
  • Manages schedule for team as needed, coordinating with Sales and customers
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience with wood and vinyl window assembly, installation, and repair
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
  • Ability to gather facts and problem solve
  • Knowledge of window and door products
  • Ability to work unsupervised and desires a high level of responsibility
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to daily changing needs and demands of the team
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and applications
  • Ability to speak, write, and read English required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Class C driver's license and must have and maintain a good driving record required

  • Demonstrate sound judgment in dealing with sensitive business matters with internal and external customers of all types
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all information related to company finances and records, particularly, cost of goods purchased and sold
  • Identify processes, tools and/or procedures that may be improved upon in an effort to improve the workplace and outcomes for our customers
  • Strong focus, planning, organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage changing priorities, handle multiple projects, and do what is necessary to meet deadlines, while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Function independently, as part of a team, and as a leader within your own team with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Think and respond quickly, positively and professionally to constantly changing circumstances
  • Appropriately manage stress and interact with others

Working Conditions

  • This position works primarily on the road visiting customers and job sites
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, Must be able to grasp, talk, hear, and operate a computer and keyboard, Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 100 pounds and carry objects 50 feet, Must be able to carry and climb a 12’ ladder, Must be comfortable with heights, Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, Must be able to drive a vehicle when necessary

Pay: $27.95-$32.65 an hour
