About the role
PARR’s Window Sales Coordinator is responsible for executing the sales call process and strategies, supporting the sales team, managing construction schedules, and interacting with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers
- Communicate with a wide number of customers in the Residential Construction industry, and help manage the timely flow of building materials to their jobsite
- Expertly use, promote, and facilitate PARR Bridge Strategy
- Set, reach, and exceed personal sales and profit goals
- Deepen customer relationships and schedule timely material shipments to ensure account profitability and customer satisfaction
- Sell on overall quality, value, and service, rather than price
- Prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate with dispatch to ensure accurate delivery times
- Sends photos of returns to dispatch for pickup
- Maintain customer profiles in Outlook or CRM
- Manage open orders to ensure timely invoicing or deletion
- Take action to achieve objectives without waiting for management directives
- Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up and communication
- Follow SPC guidelines and maintain proper GP%
- Complete purchase orders on time, confirm confirmations, and tie POs to orders
- Greet walk-in customers professionally and assist them
- Answer phones promptly with a professional greeting
- Identify customer urgency and complete orders quickly
- Seek to learn products and their applications for the end user
- Confirm customer material needs before ordering
- Exceed profitable SPC pricing guidelines
- Complete quotes and follow up in a timely manner
- Proactively address customer needs
- Maintain a PARR share file for customer plans and take-offs
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Knowledge
- Write quotes and orders with a high degree of accuracy and speed
- Perform simple takeoffs for windows, doors, siding, and other materials
- Accurately write orders in POS
- Accurately use WOQS
- Manage outlook and personal notebook
- Utilize all resources to find solutions
- Follow all AR account and cash handling procedures
- Seek out product transactions and order history
- Understand building codes applicable to windows, doors, and hardware
- Help customers with warranty issues and claims
- Use MARKETPLACE door program
- Set up new job addresses in system as needed
- Make outgoing phone calls to prospects regarding business opportunities
Qualifications
- Knowledge of building materials and/or experience in construction industry (a must)
- Strong communication skills both through phone and email
- Proven ability to develop relationships
- Ability to operate personal computer, smartphone, scanner, and other necessary equipment
- Ten-key by touch required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to execute PARR selling strategies and initiatives
- Ability to achieve sales goals and objectives
- Knowledge of PARR selling principles, practices, and protocols
- Willingness to share department responsibilities in order to meet deadlines
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent

- Work cordially, professionally, diplomatically, and with a high level of customer service in a dynamic environment
- Develop sound judgment in dealing with sensitive business matters with internal and external customers of all types
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all information related to company finances and records
- Identify processes, tools, and/or procedures that may be improved upon to enhance workplace and outcomes for our customers
- Communicate with all levels of management and employees at a high skill level and speak effectively in front of groups
- Communicate in a professional style to the entire yard and crew
- Participate in team meetings and discussions
- Communicate professionally and productively with AMT
- Notify customers when product arrives
- Confirm delivery times with customers after scheduled in DDMS
- Write legibly on business logs and other handwritten material
- Respond to voicemails and emails promptly and with correct grammar and spelling
- Take ownership and communicate with management when mistakes are made
- Provide clear delivery and contact information on orders
- Have a relationship with all coworkers and use those relationships to solve problems
- Communicate with operations team about material returns, requirements for them, and photos as appropriate
- Communicate with vendors and provide support needed
- Communicate with customers about market changes/conditions
- Manage upset or disgruntled customers professionally
- Inform receivers on status of cancelled special orders or materials to be returned to suppliers
- Bring areas of concern to management’s attention
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and carry objects 50 feet
- Able to work in an office environment
