Window Glass Installer

Glass Doctor is seeking a skilled Window Glass Installer to join our team in Greensboro, NC. If you have over a year of glass installation experience and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we want to invest in your growth and success. You’ll work with residential and commercial clients, often during urgent situations, ensuring their spaces are safe and visually appealing.

Responsibilities

• Install flat glass products for doors, storefronts, windows, showers, mirrors, tables, and other glass-related items.
• Perform necessary repairs and custom glass cutting for tailored projects.
• Take precise measurements to ensure materials meet specified dimensions.
• Assess the client’s home or business to identify additional service needs.
• Provide reassurance and clear explanations to clients about required services to resolve their issues.
• Collect payments from clients for completed work.

Requirements

• One year or more of glass installation experience, preferably with glass cutting expertise.
• Proficiency with basic trade tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. independently, as glass can be heavy and technicians often work alone.
• Comfort working at heights, with ladders, and using lifts.
• Comfort using mobile technology and digital software (no paper-based systems).
• Previous work experience verified through reference checks.
