Job Responsibilities

  • Develop new client accounts for company through cold calls, working potential customer lists that include architects, trade organizations, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Following sales leads and scheduling appointments with prospective customers.
  • Consultation with customers providing solutions for their projects.
  • Capture new business through networking, referrals, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Continually strive for 100% satisfaction with clients.
  • Prepare estimates for specific projects, provide product recommendations and solutions for the customer.
  • Manage customer account receivables.
  • Attend monthly sales meetings.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and own reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, written, sales and Customer Service skills are necessary.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Superior time-management and organization skills.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Previous building material sales experience (not required).
  • Knowledge of building materials products highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and applicable programs is required.
  • Drug Free (will be tested).
  • Pre-employment background check.
