Window Assembly 1st Shift

About the role

Associates at this location will perform a variety of tasks in the manufacturing process to create energy-efficient, custom-made replacement vinyl windows.

Responsibilities

• Read, follow, and understand standard work procedures and directions for each window order to meet customer requirements
• Sort and cut material for each window order
• Assemble frame and sash sections
• Install hardware, trim, and clean units
• Ensure correct hardware is used
• Prepare glass for installation
• Perform final assembly of the unit
• Wrap product and prepare for shipping
• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment

• Factory environment subject to temperature extremes (both heat and cold)
• Working near operating machinery
• Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds

This is a long-term temporary assignment with potential for temp-to-hire for exceptional candidates.

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure
• Familiarity with manual and power hand tools
• Ability to read and follow written instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, twist, and lift
• Willingness to work 40+ hours per week, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
