Winch Operator

Short Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Winch Operator to join an exciting project in the USA onboard the Cable Installation Vessel. In this role, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials and equipment while contributing directly to the success of the project.

Function Description

• Rotation Length: 6 weeks

• Vessel: Cable Installation Vessel

Responsibilities

• Operate winches with precision, moving heavy loads safely and efficiently.

• Collaborate closely with your team to execute complex lifting operations.

• Maintain winch equipment, ensuring it's always in top working order.

Requirements

• A perfect candidate for this role should have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience and have a good level of English communication.

• Proven track-record onboard Multi-Purpose or Cable Installation Vessels is a plus.

Training and Certification Requirements

• B1 OCS Wind Farm visa (other B1 OCS visa without annotation can also be considered)

• STCW Basic Safety

• STCW Advanced Fire Fighting

• STCW Security Awareness

• Seafarer's Medical (MLC)

• Seaman's Book
