Wilbert Inc. 2nd Shift Material Handler

Role and Responsibilities

• Tend plastic molding machines to prepare raw materials for production.
• Assist in the removal and cleanup of raw materials after production runs.
• Prepare workstations and study production schedules to determine material and product requirements.
• Move stock between staging areas, gate areas, and production zones, both manually and using equipment like forklifts.
• Stage materials in dryers for color and mold changes, reducing downtime.
• Identify and obtain necessary packaging supplies and components as needed.
• Ensure raw material supplies are full and return unused or unnecessary material to staging areas.
• Notify technicians and quarantine contaminated or questionable material.
• Set up and oversee the grinding of scrap materials and move auxiliary equipment as needed.
• Assist with mold setups and move finished products to staging areas after quality disposition.
• Ensure all unused packaging and material are correctly identified and returned to staging areas.
• Scan raw materials, components, Work In Progress (WIP), and finished goods as required for movement within the building.
• Maintain and operate filters, dryers, drying ovens, vacuum stations, and grinders.
• Assist with inventory preparation and counting.
• Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any needed repairs.
• Use forklifts and other equipment safely and maintain work areas in a neat and orderly condition.

Pay
