Responsibilities
- Monitor and measure programs' compliance and with all applicable policies, funding and billing regulations, and laws.
- Maintain quality assurance/improvement across all aspects of the program.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accreditation standards and implement corrective action plans as necessary.
- Assess BMI and evaluate nutritional status.
- Evaluate participants' tolerance for prescribed diets.
- Conduct healthcare screenings and assessments.
- Coordinate care with other medical providers for medically fragile patients.
- Provide age-appropriate education and instruction to participants.
- Enter information into an Electronic Health Record on all participant services in a timely manner.
Requirements
- License to practice as a Dietician in the State of Louisiana.
- Over 18 years of age.
- A valid driver's license.
- Prior experience in the field is preferred.
