- Possess prospecting skills (field visits, events, email/phone/LinkedIn)
- Run first meetings, samples, and pilots
Account Management
- Conduct regular in-person visits and virtual check-ins
- Present assortments, pricing, promos; place orders; monitor sell-through and inventory health
Sales Execution
- Understand and execute the branch/region sales plan, including price updates and promotional calendars
- Communicate plans to customers and internal teams
Cross-functional Coordination
- Partner with Operations/Logistics on deliveries
- Partner with Category/Marketing on launches and POS
- Partner with AR to support timely collections
Customer Insights
- Anticipate customer needs
- Recommend solutions
- Relay market feedback to inform demand planning and new product opportunities
Brand Building
- Support trade shows, samplings, and distributor/retailer events
- Deliver professional product training and line reviews
