About the Role

The Wholesale Brand Specialist serves as a key ambassador for the Moncler brand across New York and New Jersey wholesale partner locations, helping to drive sales performance, elevate brand visibility, and deliver exceptional client experiences. This role supports a portfolio including Nordstrom New York, Neiman Marcus Short Hills, Neiman Marcus Bergen, Neiman Marcus Roosevelt Field, Bloomingdale's Bergen, Hirshleifers Long Island, and other designated accounts. You will partner closely with department store leadership, sales associates, personal shoppers, and visual merchandising teams to ensure consistent execution of Moncler's brand standards and commercial objectives.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated sales and relationship-building professional who combines strong luxury retail expertise with a passion for client engagement, product storytelling, training, and business development. Through field presence, coaching, market insights, and client activation, the Wholesale Brand Specialist plays a critical role in strengthening Moncler's position within the market and supporting continued business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development
    • Drive sales performance across assigned wholesale accounts by championing Moncler products, client engagement strategies, and brand initiatives.
    • Identify opportunities to increase productivity, market share, and brand penetration within each location.
    • Partner with department store leadership and selling teams to develop action plans that support sales growth and business objectives.
    • Build strong relationships with personal shoppers, top sellers, and key store stakeholders to increase brand advocacy and client acquisition.
    • Support local clienteling efforts and identify opportunities to engage high-potential clients and communities.
  • Brand Education & Training
    • Serve as the primary Moncler product and brand expert within assigned locations.
    • Deliver engaging product knowledge, storytelling, and selling skills training to sales associates and management teams.
    • Coach and influence selling behaviors that elevate the client experience and reinforce Moncler's luxury positioning.
    • Ensure store teams remain informed on seasonal launches, key products, brand initiatives, and commercial priorities.
  • Visual Merchandising & Brand Presentation
    • Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently executed in accordance with Moncler guidelines and seasonal directives.
    • Partner with Visual Merchandising teams and wholesale partners to maintain premium brand presentation and maximize product visibility.
    • Identify and communicate merchandising opportunities that support sales performance and brand consistency.
  • Market Intelligence & Operational Excellence
    • Monitor sales trends, inventory levels, client feedback, and competitive activity within the market.
    • Provide timely and actionable insights to Sales, Retail, Merchandising, and Visual Merchandising partners.
    • Complete detailed store visit recaps, documenting opportunities, challenges, and business recommendations.
    • Support seasonal launches, special events, marketing activations, and promotional initiatives across assigned accounts.
    • Maintain a consistent field presence across the territory to strengthen partnerships and drive execution.
  • Professional Conduct & Teamwork
    • Demonstrate a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach while contributing to the achievement of team and organizational goals.
    • Foster positive relationships across internal and external partners through professionalism, transparency, and mutual respect.

    • Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned in alignment with business priorities and market needs.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant experience.
  • Work Experience: 2–5 years of experience in luxury retail, wholesale, field sales, brand specialist, or related roles. Experience within luxury fashion, premium retail, beauty, or lifestyle brands strongly preferred.

Schedule

  • Ability to travel regularly throughout New York and New Jersey to support assigned wholesale accounts.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, early mornings, and special events as business needs require.
  • Approximately 75% of time spent in the field supporting wholesale partners (at least 25% in Nordstrom NYC location) and 25% dedicated to administrative responsibilities, reporting, planning, and business analysis.

Pay

The current estimated base salary range for this position is $78,000 to $90,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including business needs, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, education, and certifications.
