Traveling Retail Merchandiser

About the role

Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. Responsibilities include building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. This is a traveling position that requires regular travel as a primary requirement of the role; travel may account for up to 50% or more of the time.

Responsibilities

• Build in-store displays and end caps
• Reset shelves and rotate product
• Track inventory to maximize sales opportunities
• Travel regularly within and outside your home state, including overnight hotel stays
• Interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Work independently while also collaborating with team members
• Perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Comfortable performing physical work: moving, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation to and from work locations
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Successful team-building skills
