Whole Loans Operations, Analyst

The Whole Loans Operations Analyst is responsible for loan and letter of credit booking, funding, payments, and maintenance for defined lines of business, as well as executing related controls using systems and processes defined by management. The role includes interpreting credit agreements, handling loan/fee accruals, calculations, reconciliations, and remediation for commercial loan and letter of credit products.
Responsibilities
- Process transactions involving booking and servicing commercial loans and letters of credit.
- Research and respond to incoming commercial loan requests from supported business areas.
- Review payment history, loan balances, and associated documentation, including loan notes, forbearance agreements, and modifications.
- Perform dollar transactions, collateral setup and maintenance, GL balancing, and quality review.
- Create and analyze error reports, research payments logs, and incoming wire transfer payments.
- Ensure proper documentation is filed appropriately and available for internal and external audits.
- Identify and resolve problems within established guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education (Required).
- 1+ years of working knowledge in documentation and banking operations (Required).
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and various bank systems.
- Ability to adapt quickly and work as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of Commercial Banking.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of Syndicated and Commercial Loan products and markets.
- Demonstrated knowledge of other banking products and the ability to apply that information to this role.
- Expert knowledge of lending policies and procedures, credit analysis, underwriting, and structuring.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 USD annually, based on a 40-hour work week for hourly (non-exempt) roles. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and location.
