Wheelchair Agent

About the role

Maximus Global Services (MGS) provides aviation services at various airports in the US including John Wayne Airport (SNA). We are seeking a Wheelchair Agent to join our dynamic and growing team.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the supervisor on duty at all times
• Review and assign daily manning tasks
• Take passengers to and from assigned doors, ensuring security procedures are met
• Guide passengers through customs and baggage claim to the curb
• Return the wheelchair to its initial position after service

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to stand or walk constantly for up to an entire shift
• Bend/twist at waist/knees/neck, pull and push to perform duties
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
• Effective interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public
• Read, write, and speak English fluently
• Pass background investigation and pre-employment drug/alcohol test
• Eligible for CBP seal and pass criminal background check
