About the Role
Powder coat wheels according to customer specifications at our Jacksonville, FL location. We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a willingness to learn and an interest in advancement.
Responsibilities
- Maintain regular attendance and be at the work station on time each scheduled workday.
- Place wheels on pallets for storage.
- Prepare wheels/rims for refinishing by removing valve stems and wheel weights, then place the wheel in the blaster.
- Remove wheels from the blaster and transfer them to the powder coating booth using a wheel hoist.
- Using a powder coating gun (with safety glasses and respirator for protection), spray wheels with the proper color and to manufacturer specifications.
- Slide wheels on the monorail into the oven, where they will bake for 10-12 minutes as they move through the oven automatically.
- Allow wheels to cool on the monorail before removal.
- Once cooled, move wheels to a pallet using gloves and stack them. Wheels will cure for up to 24 hours before re-mounting tires.
- Inspect, repair, and lubricate equipment following manufacturer instructions to maintain good operating condition.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of the plant, including sweeping floors and walls as necessary.
- Receive, unload, and store tires, wheels, and other materials in designated places.
- Comply with Company Safety Policy and follow fire prevention instructions.
- Maintain a stock of repair/refurbishing materials and advise the manager when replenishment is necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications
1 year of manufacturing and production experience is recommended.
