Responsibilities

• Apply powder coatings using a batch booth system with consistent quality and accuracy
• Mask and plug parts with heat-resistant tape, caps, and plugs according to specifications
• Use precision tools like Exacto knives for detailed prep work
• Load and unload parts from the curing oven, ensuring careful handling throughout
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics with accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet daily production goals
• Continuously adapt to varied tasks and priorities based on business needs

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of prior powder coating experience
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment required
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to retain information and follow instructions
• Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Physical Demands

• The role requires time standing and walking on the production floor
• May be required to operate a computer and/or other office devices
• Occasionally will have to lift and/or transport items weighing up to 40 pounds
• Perform repetitive tasks involving bending, stretching, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting

Work Environment

• Exposure to the production floor
• While on the production floor, employee may be subjected to moving mechanical parts and may be required to put on precautionary, protective wear such as safety glasses
