Primary Responsibilities
- Create and implement social media content calendars across various platforms.
- Create engaging and relevant content, including posts, images, videos, and stories.
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions.
- Respond to inquiries and engage with followers in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and contests.
- Analyze social media metrics and insights to track performance and optimize strategies.
Minimum Requirements
- Knowledge equivalent to a four-year college degree in Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations.
- Up to six months of related and progressively more responsible work experience in public and media relations, marketing, advertising, and creative services.
- One to three years of related and progressively more responsible work experience in journalism, broadcasting, and print media.
- Experience managing content for social media channels.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365, and project management tools.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to work standard and non-standard schedules, including nights and weekends.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and storytelling ability.
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools.
- Experience with graphic design, photography, or video editing is a plus.
- Passion for social media and staying current with trends.
- Interest in the performing arts.
Desired Qualifications
- Graphic design, word processing, desktop publishing, web design, presentation, spreadsheet, and database software proficiency.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365, and project management tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools such as Status Brew, Google Analytics, or social media analytics platforms.
- Experience with graphic design, photography, or video editing.
