WFH Data Entry Clerk

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently enter a high volume of data into our databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check the output.
  • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company and client information.
  • Organise and file information to ensure it is easily accessible for future use.
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files.
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a data entry or similar administrative role.
  • Exceptional typing speed and accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is an asset.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
