WF Parks - Skating Instructor

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Teach and assist classes, demonstrating skating skills and providing hands-on guidance.
• Ensure a safe environment for participants on the ice.
• Collaborate in planning lessons and evaluate participant progress.
• Help participants build their skating skills through structured lessons.
• Foster an enjoyable, supportive environment that encourages skill development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ice Skating Experience: Prior experience in hockey or figure skating.
• Teaching Ability: Comfortable leading classes for a range of ages and skill levels.
• Certification: Must complete Learn to Skate USA Certification (provided by WFPD).
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to engage effectively with participants and parents.

Supplemental Information

• Work Schedule: This seasonal role runs from June 1- August 31, with flexibility in hours and days.
• Additional Opportunities: Seeking substitutes as well.
