We’re excited that you are considering joining us at H2O Kalamazoo through Reliant! Reliant is a faith-based nonprofit that partners with missional churches and Gospel-centered nonprofits to mobilize support-based missionaries for the Great Commission. Through Reliant, we provide missionaries with the resources, training, and support needed to thrive in their calling, including the critical process of raising financial and prayer support. Whether you're pursuing a short-term internship, a long-term residency, or a career in ministry, we are here to support and guide you every step of the way.

Application Process

• This is the initial application for Reliant.

• The Ministry Assessment assesses your readiness for your ministry role.

• The Moral Conduct assesses your emotional and character-based readiness for a role in ministry.

• The Local Interview involves an interview with your church leadership.

• The Reliant Review combines all the pieces of your application and creates a summary to discuss with your local church.

• The Decision/Discernment brings Reliant and your church together to make an employment decision.

• If accepted, you will be Provisionally Accepted and given the opportunity to accept your offer.

• Onboarding includes online (and potentially in-person) training and HR paperwork, preparing you to become a Reliant employee and raising financial support.

Note: Once you begin a questionnaire within a stage, you will need to complete that stage fully. You are not able to save within a stage. Please set aside ample time to complete each stage.
