Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and/or trailers.
• Properly secure loads in accordance with state/federal regulations and safety practices.
• Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Assist in warehouse and yard inventory responsibilities.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment (e.g., gas, oil, water, tires, lights, brakes).
• Verify inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Submit receipts and money received from deliveries.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic situations to base or other vehicles.
• Handle unexpected situations (e.g., traffic, weather conditions) with adaptability and foresight.
• Maintain company gas card, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance.
• Ensure Driver License and Medical Certificate are current and on person while driving.
• Enjoy interacting with customers and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• No record of DUI/DWI citations or convictions within the previous 5 years.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and functional screen.
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, use hands, stand, walk, climb, or balance.
• Specific vision abilities, including close vision.

Pay

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour, with additional compensation including:

• $1,000 (~$2.00/hr) Quarterly Safety Bonus Program (increases with seniority).
• Annual merit increases.

Schedule

• Delivery routes with multiple stops.
• 100-500 mile driving radius from the branch.
• Full-time position.
