Responsibilities
- Supporting clients with all aspects of home and community life.
- Ensuring consistent safety for clients.
- Providing a healthy and professional friendship for clients.
- Assisting with personal hygiene and dressing routines.
- Scheduling, attending, and reporting on medical and therapeutic appointments.
- Shopping, cooking, and cleaning with the client.
- Encouraging regular exercise, socialization, and entertainment.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two years of experience working with disabilities (preferred).
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proof of insurance.
- At least 18 years of age.
- A letter from a person or employer verifying your field experience.
