About the role

The Locator will work with the HDD (Drill) Operator to identify and mark utilities before drilling for gas line installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operator with all duties
• Locate and mark utility lines
• Able to perform physical tasks and work outdoors (lift 60 lbs)
• Able to work and communicate effectively in written form, email, or in person with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Takes personal responsibility for the quality and presentation of work
• Maintains a positive attitude, professionalism, and discretion at all times to all levels of the organization
• Able to support a dynamic project environment with time-driven deadlines
• Must be able to travel for extended periods of time to assigned project(s)
• Clean driving record

Requirements

• Education Preferred: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience Preferred: Horizontal Drill Locator
• Experience with utility work
