Little Rock, AR - Drill Locator - Natural Gas

Job Description

The Locator will work with the HDD (Drill) Operator to identify and mark utilities before drilling for gas line installations.

Job Responsibility Summary

• Aid the Operator with all duties
• Locate and mark utility lines
• Able to perform physical tasks and work outdoors (lift 60lbs)
• Able to work and communicate effectively in written form, e-mail, or in person with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Takes personal responsibility for the quality and presentation of work
• Maintains a positive attitude, professionalism and discretion at all times to all levels of the organization
• Able to support a dynamic project environment with time-driven deadlines
• Must be able to travel for extended periods of time to assigned project(s)

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Education: Preferred - High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: Preferred - Horizontal Drill Locator Experience with utility work
• Physical Demands: The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina.
